We built this van in 2025, and it has come back through our shop to find its next owner. The shop that put it together is the shop that evaluated it in person before listing it, and the people who built it are a phone call away.
The electrical system is a 400Ah lithium battery bank, a 3,000W inverter/charger for household outlets, 200W of rooftop solar, a DC-DC charger that tops the bank up while you drive, and an exterior shore-power hookup. Climate is handled by a hydronic system for cabin heat and hot water, a 12V rooftop air conditioner that runs off the batteries and a powered roof vent fan. Our shop installed it and can service it right here.
The layout is built around an electric lift bed that rises out of the way at the touch of a button, opening the whole rear of the van — queen size, sleeping 4 in total, with 2 belted seats. Underneath it sits a dedicated gear garage, reachable straight through the rear doors. A cab seat swivels around to face the living space. The galley has a 12V drawer refrigerator, a built-in induction cooktop and a plumbed sink with running water. Water is 30 gallons fresh and 22 gallons gray. For the bath: a portable toilet and interior wet bath.
