Pricing · Sequoia + Salt
Every Sequoia + Salt van leaves the shop complete. Here's how our pricing works, and how you make a build yours.
The short version
Every Sequoia + Salt build is semi-custom: you start from one of our proven builds and configure it around how you travel. Because each van is specified to you — layout, chassis, power, climate, and finishes — we price every build individually rather than posting a single sticker. Builds range from a complete semi-custom van through a fully custom, no-compromises build.
Every van leaves the shop complete — water, hot water, heat, AC, ventilation, refrigeration, exterior shower, toilet, cooking, and full cabinetry — with the Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram ProMaster chassis sourced separately. Tell us about your build and we'll put together tailored pricing.

How Builds Are Priced
Most customers start from one of our proven builds — a layout we've engineered and built many times — then configure it around how they travel. From there, the range runs from a lightly personalized semi-custom van to a fully custom, ground-up build. Where your price lands depends on the build you choose and how far you take it.
Pick a proven build, make it yours, and we'll quote it to your exact spec — no single sticker price, because every build is different.
The Upgrades
Every Sequoia + Salt build is semi-custom. Once your base build is set, you decide what to add — power capacity for longer travel, integrated heating systems, larger water capacity, interior modules, finish upgrades. We'll walk through every choice together during your build consultation. No required upgrades, no hidden costs. Your van, your spec.
Explore Our Builds →The Anticipated Change Order
Most premium custom-build industries — high-end home builders, custom yacht builders, bespoke tailors — use a pattern called the Anticipated Change Order. It's a transparent way of saying: you're going to make choices during design that affect the final price, and we're going to show you that range before design begins.
Every Sequoia + Salt quote includes an Anticipated Change Order line item. You'll see it before the design phase starts. Most customers use this range as they personalize cabinet modules, finishes, fridge sizes, cooking setup, and system upgrades. This isn't extra cost we spring on you — it's your design budget, reserved up front, used as you make decisions.
We do this because the alternative — a "starting price" that quietly climbs during sales conversations — is how trust dies. Your build price tells you what the van itself costs. The Anticipated Change Order tells you what your finished van will likely cost. You'll always know both before you commit.
What's Not Included
Sequoia + Salt prices reflect the conversion only. The Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram ProMaster chassis is sourced separately.
We do this because the chassis is a significant investment that you get a manufacturer warranty on, and because choosing your own chassis means choosing the right wheelbase, drivetrain, color, and factory options for how you'll actually use the van. Many customers source their own van; others ask us to help. We point you to trusted dealers in our network — you buy it, we build it.
Chassis cost depends on platform, drivetrain, and trim. We walk through it together during your build consultation, and point you to trusted dealers in our network.
What Shapes Your Price
Every build is quoted to its own spec, because no two are alike. These are the choices that shape what yours costs.
Semi-custom from a proven layout, or a fully custom, ground-up build. The starting point sets the range.
Sprinter, Transit, or ProMaster — wheelbase, drivetrain, and trim, sourced separately.
Bigger battery banks, hydronic heat and hot water, and off-grid capacity for longer, colder trips.
Cabinet modules, materials, fixtures, and the details that make the van yours.

Frequently Asked
Pricing depends on the build you choose and how far you take it — from a semi-custom van built on a proven layout through a fully custom, ground-up build — plus the Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram ProMaster chassis, which is sourced separately. We put together a tailored quote when you request pricing or book a build consultation.
The chassis is a major investment you get a manufacturer warranty on. We let you choose the specs that matter to you — wheelbase, drivetrain, color, factory options. Many customers source their own van; others ask us to help. We point you to trusted dealers in our network — you buy it, we build it.
It's a transparent line item on every Sequoia + Salt quote that reserves budget for choices you make during the design phase — interior modules, finishes, system upgrades. You'll see this range BEFORE design begins. It's how we keep pricing honest instead of climbing during sales conversations.
Yes. Every Sequoia + Salt van leaves the shop complete — water, hot water, heat, AC, ventilation, power, refrigeration, exterior shower, cassette toilet, induction cooktop, and full cabinetry. You can drive home, take a weekend trip, and have everything you need.
When you include the chassis, a complete Sequoia + Salt build is priced similarly to mainstream Class B premium RVs — for materially better materials, fully customizable interior, and industry-standard serviceable systems instead of proprietary lock-in. We're building a comparison page (coming soon) that walks through specific differences.
We don't finance directly. Most customers use specialty RV or auto lenders — we can recommend providers during your consultation.
4-6 months depending on complexity. We confirm your delivery window during your consultation.
Your build price is locked when you sign your contract. Anything you choose during the design phase is set before design is finalized — once you finalize your design, your total is locked. We don't surprise customers with price changes after contract.
