Pricing · Sequoia + Salt
Every Sequoia + Salt van leaves road-ready. Here's what that means, what it costs, and how you make it yours.
The short version
A complete, road-ready Sequoia + Salt build starts at $89,850 for our Scout layout and $114,350 for our Loft. These are anticipated pre-design estimates that include every system a customer needs to drive away, sleep, cook, shower, and stay powered: water, hot water, heat, AC, ventilation, refrigeration, exterior shower, toilet, cooking, and full cabinetry. The Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram ProMaster chassis is sourced separately.
Most customers add $15,000–$50,000 in interior personalization and system upgrades during the design phase. Final pricing is locked when you book a build consultation.

The Upgrades
Every Sequoia + Salt build is semi-custom. Once your Foundation is set, you decide what to add — power capacity for longer travel, integrated heating systems, larger water capacity, interior modules, finish upgrades. We'll walk through every choice together during your build consultation. No required upgrades, no hidden costs. Your van, your spec.
Try the Build Calculator →The Anticipated Change Order
Most premium custom-build industries — high-end home builders, custom yacht builders, bespoke tailors — use a pattern called the Anticipated Change Order. It's a transparent way of saying: you're going to make choices during design that affect the final price, and we're going to show you that range before design begins.
Every Sequoia + Salt quote includes an Anticipated Change Order line item. You'll see it before design phase starts. Most customers spend $15,000–$50,000 in this range as they personalize cabinet modules, finishes, fridge sizes, cooking setup, and system upgrades. This isn't extra cost we spring on you — it's your design budget, reserved up front, used as you make decisions.
We do this because the alternative — a "starting price" that climbs $30,000+ during sales conversations — is how trust dies. Foundation pricing tells you what a road-ready van costs. The Anticipated Change Order tells you what your finished van will likely cost. You'll always know both numbers before you commit.
What's Not Included
Sequoia + Salt prices reflect the conversion only. The Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram ProMaster chassis is sourced separately.
We do this because the chassis is a significant investment that you get a manufacturer warranty on, and because choosing your own chassis means choosing the right wheelbase, drivetrain, color, and factory options for how you'll actually use the van. Many of our customers source their own. Others ask us to help — we work with regional dealers and can guide you through the right specs.
Expect to invest $65,000–$95,000 in your chassis depending on platform, drivetrain, and trim. We discuss this together during your build consultation.
