A Sprinter built around
a rear galley and cabover bed.

Heron is a Full Custom Sprinter conversion that doesn't conform to a Scout or Loft framework. The build is anchored by a rear-galley layout — a butcher-block island with induction cooktop, white cabinetry with leather pulls, and the full galley facing out the rear doors with marina sightlines. The sleeping platform sits in a cabover configuration with overhead storage cabinets and a window above the bed. The result is a daytime layout that opens entirely to the rear and a separate sleeping zone forward of the galley.

What made Heron custom.

Heron's rear-galley + cabover sleeping configuration doesn't map to either of our semi-custom platforms. The Scout puts the bed at the rear over a gear garage; the Loft puts a lift bed mid-cabin over a lounge. Heron does neither — the galley sits at the rear with full pass-through to the doors, and the sleeping platform sits forward in a cabover position with its own window. That layout decision opens the galley to the outdoors, separates living from sleeping, and shifts storage overhead rather than below. It was engineered around how the customer cooks and how they wanted the van to live, not around a productized template.

for your own build?

Heron started as a conversation about a layout that didn't fit a Scout or Loft framework. Yours can too — we'll talk through your vision, timeline, and budget, then put together a real proposal.
