Who Is This For?
We've already engineered the van — you choose how it works for you.
Space Planning
Every build starts with the same foundation. Two decisions determine how your space is allocated.
Step-by-Step
Your van platform affects interior space, system capacity, and build cost.
Premium driving experience, strongest aftermarket support, and highest resale value.
Balanced platform with modern driving characteristics and strong overall value.
Widest interior space with lower entry point and efficient front-wheel drive.
Standard or extended — longer wheelbases add interior space and storage flexibility. Wheelbase is confirmed during your consultation.
Standard
Extended
Your sleeping orientation determines how the interior is structured — cabinet size, storage, and overall flow.
Bed runs side to side across the van. Standard on all Transit and ProMaster builds. Available on Sprinter in a compact version.
Bed runs front to back at 75" — extended wheelbase vans only. Best for travelers who get up frequently at night since you can step out from either side without disturbing a partner.
Widens the east-west sleeping area in a Sprinter for a more comfortable full-size sleeping experience.
Cabinetry & Interior
Every Scout is built around a modular cabinetry system designed for life on the road. Click any section to learn what's included.
Every Sequoia + Salt conversion begins with our durable cabinetry construction system designed for life on the road.
Upgrade options such as premium cabinet finishes and furniture-grade inset cabinetry are available during your design consultation.
Every Scout is built on a fixed cabinet structure. Your van platform determines the dimensions — the widths never change. You choose how the interior of each space functions.
Standard wheelbase (Sprinter 144, Transit 148, ProMaster 159): Always 34" wide. Interior configured as 18" sink base + 16" door with adjustable shelving.
Extended wheelbase (Sprinter 170, Transit 148 EXT, ProMaster 159 EXT): Always 58" wide. Interior configured as 18" sink base + 16" 3-drawer + 24" door with adjustable shelving.
Standard wheelbase: Always 56" wide. Interior includes 10" spice rack, 85L drawer fridge (upgradeable), and 24" 2-drawer cabinet with toilet compartment below.
Extended wheelbase: Always 78" wide with additional storage and configuration options. A 32" enclosed shower can be added — this deducts from the 78" allotment and adjusts the remaining cabinet configuration.
Standard wheelbase: Passenger side 31" · Driver side 56"
Extended wheelbase: Passenger side 55" · Driver side 78" (adjusts if shower is added)
A 30" passenger bench seat is available as an option. Selecting it replaces the passenger side galley cabinet with seating — your driver side galley remains at 24" usable width.
The structure is fixed. The interior orientation is yours to choose — confirmed during your build consultation.
A full galley system designed for everyday travel and off-grid use.
Upgrades available: larger refrigerators, dual burner induction cooktops, microwaves, expanded countertop systems.
The Scout prioritizes practical storage throughout.
Additional upgrades: wardrobe cabinets, pantry storage, gear drawers, and specialty equipment storage — customized to how you use your van.
A 30" forward-facing bench seat is available. When selected, it replaces the passenger side galley and overhead cabinet.
